As an investment advisor held to the fiduciary standard of care, Andi got into the financial services industry in 1998 to help people feel more confident about their future. After her first job at a major financial firm in California revealed to her the frustrations of limited access, Andi decided early in her career to align herself with an independent agency.
Today, serving in her capacity as co-owner of Duell Financial Strategies, she designs holistic financial plans where purpose determines placement. She co-hosts a Saturday morning radio show, “Your Retirement,” and a Sunday show, “Retirement Lifestyle Radio” with Sam Duell to help people get the answers to their questions. As a female in what has been a traditionally male-dominated industry, she especially encourages other women to come out of the shadows and get their concerns addressed. Licensed to offer both securities and life insurance, Andi offers virtually unlimited access to products and solutions that provide both safety and return. She prides herself on her ability to connect authentically with people and takes great pleasure in seeing her clients out doing what they love.
A California girl born and raised, Andi earned an associate degree in language arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American studies. She became a full-time resident of Wisconsin in 2012 and is a big supporter of the Doberman Rescue Alliance, dedicated to the rescue and care of Doberman Pinschers in need. When not serving in her capacity as co-owner at Duell Strategies, she can be found on her 21-acre hobby farm with her three dogs, two cats, and three horses, all of them rescue animals.
Luke Van Abel
Luke Van Abel
After traveling the world and serving in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and respiratory therapy manager, Luke Van Abel returned to his interest in finance to serve residents of Northeast Wisconsin. As an investment advisor held to the fiduciary standard of care, Luke specializes in guiding retirees and pre-retirees as they negotiate the shift that occurs when going from growth and accumulation to income and preservation. He addresses concerns about Social Security, taxes, estate planning, and overall financial health while never forgetting the deeper issues at hand, namely the lifestyle his clients want to live. The foundation of his process is the belief that purpose determines placement.
A graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and an associate degree from Thomas Edison State College in applied science. He received two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 2005. In January of 2012, Luke and his wife began opening their home to the children of the community that are temporarily without family in the foster care system. Luke and Michelle also have two daughters, Joy and Sariah.

In Loving Memory
Eva
Eva passed in December of 2018 and was a beloved member of their family.
Andi rescued Eva from a Northern California Doberman rescue. She was approximately 10 years old. Eva enjoyed running, playing, and meeting new people, especially those who were willing to give her attention.
Jack
Jack, our beloved yellow lab, passed in August 2016. A staple of the Duell Financial Strategies office, Jack loved meeting new people and playing with Eva.
Smart and eager to please, Jack was more than happy to perform one or all of his tricks for anyone willing to watch – especially for those who brought him treats.
Justin rescued Jack from Chilton Humane Society. Jack and his mother were found on the streets of Chilton. At that time, he suffered from a broken hind leg. However, Jack’s history of abuse and neglect did not affect his capacity to love.
Jack was a member of our family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
